Movie opening

“I Can Only Imagine,” the movie based on the song of the same name by the group MercyMe, can be seen March 15 at 7 and 9:45 p.m. at the AMC Destin Commons 14. On March 16 and 17, times are 11:40 a.m., 2:15 p.m., 4:50 p.m., 7:25 p.m. and 10 p.m. Visit for tickets and more showtimes.

The movie follows the life of Bart Millard, author of the song. The film brings to life the true story of the song of ultimate hope. The story beautifully illustrates that nobody is ever too far from God’s love — or too far from an eternal home in heaven.
