Another $2,500 from CFAC was given to the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation for the non-profit’s Community Outreach programming to K-12 schools, Warrior Arts, and Arts for All Abilities for adults and children with special needs.

CFAC gave a $300 gift card for the All Sports Association at their Annual Banquet that raises funds to support scholarships for exceptional student athletes.

The Junior League of the Emerald Coast received a $500 donation from CFAC. They won their donation through a social media contest in support of their children’s clothing project.

Not only does Destin Commons make monetary donations, they also enable the usage of center free of charge. In the first quarter, the Fort Walton Beach chamber’s Kings of the Court event was held at the outdoor lifestyle center. The event raised $6,000 to benefit One Hopeful Place, a homeless shelter, and Impact Emerald Coast, a youth mentorship program.
