Latin Spring Festival Block Party

Destin Commons is spicing it up in honor of Cinco de Mayo. The Latin Spring Festival Block Party will take place noon-5 p.m. Sunday at El Jalisco.

Cinco de Mayo at HarborWalk Village

HarborWalk Village is throwing one of the largest fiestas in town. Enjoy free family fun with what’s being dubbed as “Destin Harbor's Largest Pinata" break on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. There will be lots of other activities as well including kid's crafts, face-painting and a stilt walker. Adults can stay late for the Cinco De Mayo Pub Crawl Fiesta from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Pub craw passes are $10 and proceeds benefit the Arc of the Emerald Coast.

 

Rockin’ Tacos is Down to Fiesta

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at The BoardWalk on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach with Rockin’ Tacos Down to Fiesta. Cinco at Mezcal

Check out one of the newest Mexican restaurants in the area for Cinco de Mayo with Mezcal Mexican Grill at the Seascape Town Centre. Derby de Mayo at The Bayo

The Bay restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach is celebrating two parties in one with their Derby de Mayo at The Bayo recognizing both the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo. The Bay chefs are roasting a whole pig on the beach and will serve pineapple pork tacos. Fresh mint juleps and margaritas will be the drinks of the night. There are two reasons to celebrate at La Paz this weekend. On Saturday, La Paz will celebrate both Cinco de Mayo and their 25th anniversary. Starting at 11 a.m. and continuing well into the night, La Paz will offer $5 fresh-squeezed La Pazaritas, food specials, door prizes and live music by Cadillac Willy from 8 p.m. to midnight. Grand Park in Grand Boulevard will be a happening place for Cinco de Mayo thanks to Cantina Laredo. On Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m., enjoy live music, dancing, lawn games and delicious Mexican food and beverages.
