PANAMA CITY BEACH — A Panama City Beach man is in serious condition after crashing his car into another vehicle Saturday night.

According to a press release from Florida Highway Patrol, 41-year-old Daniel McCall of Panama City Beach was traveling westbound on US 98 in the vicinity of Clara Avenue in his 2014 Honda Accord at around 9 p.m. Saturday night when he collided into the back of a 2002 Ford F-150 driven by Matthew Boswell of Destin.

The right hand westbound lane was blocked by a crash and Boswell stopped due to traffic conditions. McCall did not realize traffic had stopped and crashed into the Ford truck. He was taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. He was cited for careless driving.
