HarborWalk Village is celebrating Independence Day with three days of events that celebrate summer fun and stir patriotic spirits. This year’s festivities honor America and celebrate Independence Day with parades, fireworks and family fun along the lively boulevard and boardwalk of HarborWalk Village.

Come early to get your face painted and stay for live music by the Cajun group Fais Do Do on the mainstage beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 3. Then line the streets and get ready for captivating floats, flamboyant costumes and beads a plenty as the Fat Tuesday Parade rolls through HarborWalk Village at 8:30 p.m.

Commemorate the Fourth of July with an evening of kid’s crafts, live music and more. Start the night at 7 p.m., as we welcome the Fortag Band to the mainstage. Don’t miss the opportunity to dance along to this high energy show that includes all the popular favorites. Fireworks will light up the night sky over the Destin harbor at 9 p.m., followed by a fire-spinning show on the mainstage.

The celebration of Americana and the heritage of the Destin harbor continues on Thursday evening. This tribute includes a WWII Vintage flyover at 6 p.m., children crafts, live music on the mainstage by the Modern Eldorados at 7 p.m., and end the evening with an array of fireworks over the harbor at 9 p.m.

“We strive to create a variety of events for both locals and visitors to enjoy,” said Ryan Magee, event director for HarborWalk Village. “We hope all of our guests leave with lasting memories of their time spent on the Destin harbor.”
