Year over year, songs like Lana Del Rey - National Anthem (5,802 percent increase), Bruce Springsteen - Born In The U.S.A. (2,345 percent) and Toby Keith - Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (1,321 percent increase) see massive spike in US views on the Fourth of July compared to their daily 2017 average views.
The summer spikes are not just limited to the 4th of July. In addition to a 250 percent increase on July 4th last year, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - “Summertime” this year saw a 170 percent increase on the summer solstice and an 82 percent increase on Memorial Day vs. the song’s 2018 daily average views. While Miley Cyrus - “Party in the USA” -- which last year spiked 242 percent on July 4th -- saw a 26 percent increase on Memorial Day.
