The Destin Library will host a free summertime reading program puppet show at 3 p.m. July 13.

Lala Land Productions – Puppet Theatre program will feature a presentation and interactive activity. The theme of the show will emphasize the importance of children reading during the summer months.

An avid storyteller, writer, actress and impressionist turned puppeteer of late, Lala began her acting career with the Blooming Grove Repertory Theatre in New York performing in plays such as "The Crucible," "The Prisoner of Second Avenue" and "Titanic." Lala also does impressions of cartoon characters and celebrities. She believes that you are never too old to act young.

Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
