1. Destin History and Fishing Museum
Dive into the history of the “world’s luckiest fishing village” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at 108 Stahlman Ave. The exhibits present the history of Destin from a small fishing village to a major tourist attraction. The family-friendly Marine Adventure Park on Okaloosa Island provides dolphin and sea lion shows, turtle encounters and a variety of fish, birds, marine mammals and reptiles. 3. The Panhandle Butterfly House
