Summer On Stage
Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s summer camps for ages four through high school run through Aug. 4. Tuition is from $130 per person to $375 plus a $25 registration fee. Little Rascals camps for ages 4-6 are held from 9 a.m. to noon. Tuition is $130. July 23-27 and July 30-Aug. 3.
The Adventures of Robin Hood for grades 2-8 are held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday with a final performance on the last day of camp. Tuition is $175 per person. July 30-Aug. 3.
Camp Showtime for grades two through eight will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Extended drop off/pick up from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pack a snack, lunch, and water. Performance last day of camp. Tuition is $150. July 23-27.
Advanced Theatre Workshop is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 23-27. Tuition is $175.
Destin Community Center

• Kid’s Night Out: A night full of games, crafts, food, and lots of fun for ages 5-12 from 6-9 p.m. July 20. Cost is $35/non-residents and $25/residents.
• Dodgeball Camp: Ages 8-14 learn official rules, techniques and strategies from 1-3 p.m. July 24 and 26. Cost is $20/resident and $30/non-resident.
• Baseball Camp: Children ages 7-14 will learn the fundamentals of baseball like hitting, fielding, and throwing from 1-2:30 p.m. July 31-Aug. 2 and ages 9-10 from 2:30-4 p.m. at Threadgill Park. Fee is $20/resident and $25/non-resident.
• Redbird Art Camp: The Redbird Art Experience invites children 5 and older to express their creative side and imagination using a variety of recycled materials from 1:30-3 p.m. July 27. Fee is $20/resident and $25/non-resident.
Kids of all ages will “ROCK” this summer as the Destin Library presents “Libraries ROCK!” during July, with weekly themed summer reading programs for kids ages 1 to 5 and young adults 6 to 12. For more information visit www.cityofdestin.com/library or www.facebook.com/DestinLibrary/.
The 2018 Summer Reading Program is open to preschool, elementary, middle school and high school students, with programs, prize drawings, story times, themed crafts, and more. Families are invited to participate with their children.
Summer Day Camps
Destin United Methodist Church will hold day camps for graduating kindergartners through graduating fifth graders from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through Aug. 10 and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday through Aug. 10.
Fees are $125/week full time campers with 10 percent discount for each additional sibling and $95/week part time campers with 10 percent discount for each additional sibling.
Daily activities will include dancing, arts and crafts, science activities, outdoor play, daily fitness, and more.
Campers will need to bring their lunch; snacks will be provided. Each paid camper will receive a Power Plant Summer Camp T-Shirt
We will go on off-site field trips this summer, individually priced according to location. Field trip fee is in addition to regular camp fees.

Kids Summer Camp
A Summer Day Camp will be offered at the Destin Community Center from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday through Aug. 3, with a lunch program from 12-1 p.m.
The camp is for ages 5-12 years old and costs $65 per week for non-resident and $50/resident (lunch is $15/non-resident and $10/resident). Pre-registration is required at 654-5184.
Each day will be a morning full of fun activities including games, crafts, swim days (towel and swimsuit required), structured playtime, and snacks.
ECSA Summer Camps
One of the best places for kids to spend their summer is on the water, learning valuable life lessons and building self-confidence. The Emerald Coast Sailing Association is at the Fort Walton Yacht Club, 180 Ferry Road NE., and offers camp for ages seven to 18. Camp is held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Gulfarium Sunset Camp
Children ages six to 14 can have a dockside encounter with a dolphin, an exploratory venture along the beautiful Emerald Coast beach at dusk, ocean themed activities, scavenger hunt, and dinner at Seal Harbor during Sunset Camp at Gulfarium on Okaloosa Island. Biophilia Wednesday Day Camps
Art and Nature Adventures will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays for ages 5-12 at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, 4956 State Hwy. 20 E in Freeport. Sessions are $45 each. Register at www.eowilsoncenter.org.

All aboard! The STEAM Train is an eight-week program series that will explore coding, physics, anatomy, and more through stories and fun, creative projects from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Take a deep dive into new and exciting technologies with the Library’s Techsploration program series for grades five through eight from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Participants will learn about a variety of different technologies, including electrical circuits, hydraulics, and computer programming.

The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center and Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation join forces to present Music, Nature and Theater Arts for first through eighth graders from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 23-27. Cost is $165 for each session. Register at www.eowilsoncenter.org.
This week-long camp includes hands-on drumming and songwriting classes with percussionist Zig Wajler of "Hands on With Zig," wildlife-themed art classes, and dynamic hands-on science activities featuring live animal ambassadors.
AJ’s Soccer Skills Camp
AJ’s Summer Soccer Skills Camp with Coach Figueroa will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 23-25 at Morgan’s Sports Center for ages eight to 14. Learn and improve on passing, receiving, shooting, teamwork, and more in this event hosted by AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar.
