An Evening of Music
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will present An Evening of Music, Songs of Christ, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Niceville Chapel, 1100 South Palm Blvd. The choir and orchestra consist of members from Crestview, Baker, Niceville, DeFuniak Springs, Fort Walton Beach and Destin. The evening will feature songs, instrumentals and vocals about Christ. This is a free presentation and no collections will be taken. For information, call 862-3263.
Caregiver Support Group
Grace Lutheran Church is sponsoring a Christian support group that offers prayer, networking, education, resources, and Gospel support for anyone in a caregiving role. Third Monday Lunch
Join the people of Grace Lutheran Church for an informal lunch and fellowship at Culver's, 12540 U.S. Hwy. 98 W in Destin, from 12-1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20. The church would like to bless Culver’s to thank them for their frozen custard donation during vacation Bible school. You don't have to be a member to attend. Everyone is welcome. Grace meets the third Monday of each month at a different restaurant.
Fall Flair Arts and Craft Show
The Destin United Methodist Women will host the 10th annual Fall Flair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 7 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Destin Life Center at Destin United Methodist Church, 200 Beach Drive. More than 60 artists, crafters, homemade food vendors, direct sales representatives and others will be at the arts and crafts show. All proceeds go to support the Destin UMC missions.
Women of Destiny
The women’s ministry at Destiny Worship Center, Women of Destiny, will host its Fall Event 2018 from 5:30-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. Special guest will be Holly Wagner, an author, international speaker, and the co-pastor of Oasis Church in Los Angeles, where she has served with her husband for more than 30 years. She is also the founder of GodChicks — an organization devoted to encouraging and equipping women around the globe.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for shopping and mingling. Worship begins at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public with a love offering to be received. Childcare will be provided and registration is required at destinyworshipcenter.formstack.com/forms/wod_event_childcare
The Flying Pig

The Flying Pig at Shoreline Church, 140 Palmetto Street in Destin, is now serving breakfast and lunch Sundays through Thursdays. Café hours are 7:30-11 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch.
The Anchor Church, 101 First St. SE in Fort Walton Beach, has a food pantry serving the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. People 18 and over are allowed one visit per month. A valid ID is required.
