Most people call her Miss Music and she is used to it, that's because Janelee Music of Clemenza's at Uptown Station only moonlights as bartender.

"Funny thing is, I'm a kindergarten teacher when I'm not at work here, but the jobs are very similar actually," she said. "In both jobs, you are on your feet all day, and constantly everyone wants your attention at the same time. But, you do feel appreciated at both of them, for sure."

Music said she began bartending in Fort Walton Beach 18 years ago, and loved it so much that when she started teaching, she didn't want to throw in the towel.

"After working all my days with 5-year-olds, it's nice to have adult conversation where I don't have to tie your shoe," she said.

Conversation is actually her favorite part of her two-nights-a-week bartending gig.

"I love hearing and collection stories from people," said Music. "I love meeting new faces and welcoming familiar faces; they need you."

When it comes to her drink of choice, Music said nothing beats a simple gin cooler.

"I like gin. I think its got the best flavor," she said. "Hendrick's (Gin) especially with cucumber."

As for her signature sip, Music chose the most popular drink at the classic Italian establishment, Clemenza's Martini.

"The best part of it is the house-made raspberry puree coulis that we put in it and the good imported Limoncello," said Music.

When it comes to the vibe of Clemenza's, Music said she couldn't be happier with where she landed.

"It feels like your grandma made all the food, for sure, but in an elegant setting so you get the best of both worlds."
