DESTIN — A missing Ohio woman reportedly suffering from Alzheimer's was found alive but barely conscious Thursday afternoon, 10 hours after she'd last been seen at her Destin hotel. 

Joyce Troutman, 77, was severely dehydrated and was rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office. Landscapers found the missing Ohio visitor in some bushes between a bank and condominiums.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's assistance with finding Troutman after she was reported missing around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. She was last seen around 3 a.m. Thursday at The Day’s Inn, 1029 U.S. Highway 98.
