Destin Commons will host the third annual Destin Charity Cornhole Tournament at noon on Sept. 30 between H&M and Chipotle. The double elimination tournament is a partnership with Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) and Cumulus Media, with proceeds benefiting ECCAC.

ECCAC's child-friendly centers house a multidisciplinary team of child protection personnel, prosecutors, law enforcement, DCF, therapists, ECCAC staff and volunteers. The 501-C-3 non-profit’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect, protect children in Okaloosa and Walton counties and restore the lives and futures of these impacted children. ECCAC has provided services at no cost to over 12,000 children in the past 17 years.

Compliments of World of Beer, participants will enjoy a beer garden with bottomless craft beer, mimosas, Bloody Marys, Belgian pretzels, wings and corndogs. Spectators can also visit the beer garden by purchasing a wristband for $30. In addition, five sets of unique cornhole boards, custom painted by local artists, will be auctioned off at the event with all proceeds benefiting ECCAC.

The top two winning teams will receive $750 in cash and prizes, plus a trophy and bragging rights for the year. Teams of two can register for $100, which includes beer garden access, a swag bag and T-shirts. To register, go online to www.eccac.org.
