The Gulf Power Foundation presented Children in Crisis with a grant of $1,800 to help provide educational programs and wrap-around services support to the at-risk children living at the CIC Children's Neighborhood.
This is the third grant awarded to CIC by the Gulf Power Foundation. The first grant helped build and furnish a room in Blessings House, one of CIC's Family Foster Homes, and the second helped with the at-risk children’s educational needs.
“I can't thank the Gulf Power Foundation enough for their wonderful support to CIC and our children," said Ken Hair, president/CEO of Children in Crisis. "We give a home, food, clothing and care to over 100 children each year and this donation will go a long way in keeping our dream alive. Thank you.”
