Emerald Coast Advertising Federation presents 2009-2010 ADDY Awards

The Emerald Coast Advertising Federation recently presented its 2009–2010 ADDY Awards for advertising creative excellence Saturday night at the Bayside Inn Ballroom at Sandestin Resort. This annual dinner and awards presentation was attended by more than 80 individuals of the local advertising and media businesses.

Out of the professional entries received by the ECAF, 18 gold ADDY Awards and 30 silver ADDY Awards were presented. In the student categories, one student gold ADDY Award and four silver ADDY Awards were presented. Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy.

Top awards of the evening went to the “Best of Show” winners. Color Earth captured the Electronic Best of Show for a Video Sales Presentation for Beach Properties of Florida. I WILL DESIGN FOR FOOD (IWDFF) garnered Print Best of Show for its Self Promotion, Media Campaign for IWDFF. Andrea Todd took home the Student Best of Show for Packaging Design titled Clip-On Tie CD Case.

The ADDY Awards Competition is held by the Emerald Coast Advertising Federation, a member association comprised of advertising and media professionals. Proceeds from the ADDY Awards help support the Canaan Recovery Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides recovery services for alcoholism and drug abuse.
