DESTIN - Authorities are investigating the Wednesday morning death of a 20-year-old Destin woman, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office press release.
Deputies responded to an unknown medical problem at 4524 Golf Villa Ct. around 4 a.m. Wednesday, the release said. Whitney Alyce Misiewicz was found dead at the home.
Someone else at the home woke up and found her cold to the touch, said spokesman Larry Ashley. There were no signs of a struggle, and foul play is not suspected. The Sheriff's Office is investigating an "unattended death."
"Nobody seems to know how she died," Ashley said.
The results of a toxicology test are pending.
