LETTER: How about some common courtesy, Destin flyboys?
As a full time Destin resident and a veteran whose father won the Navy Cross, what is up with the rude and inconsiderate citizens that fly the old World War II airplanes and the helicopter low over homes and blast people off the beach and their own patios?
You might think you are being cute... it is NOT.
Be considerate and fly the shortest route at less than full power to the water, practice over the Gulf, bay or undeveloped land and return to the airport quietly!
You are disturbing the peace and giving a bad name to the area and yourself by being so inconsiderate. To fly over and over and over and over (get the point yet?) the same populated places shows you’re only thinking of yourself and not your fellow citizens.
I would think a bit of common sense and courtesy would cross your mind.
