Destin's Scaredy the cat takes on Lil' Mama Squirrel (PHOTOS)

DESTIN — Scaredy the cat may be bigger than the squirrel who slips into his house, but he's definitely intimidated by the visitor, according to his owner, Nannette McGowan of Destin.

Lil' Mama Squirrel lives outside, but slips in whenever the door is left open. Once inside, she spends her time terrorizing the family cat and begging for peanuts and pecans.

For now, the squirrel leaves her offspring waiting outside on the deck.

"She's the only one brave enough to come inside," writes McGowan, adding that her cat runs to her for protection whenever the squirrel comes in.
