Destin once again in rain deficit

As of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Destin is 2.29 inches below average rainfall for this point in the year.
Community Development Administrative Assistant Larry Beat said the total rainfall late Monday night and late Tuesday morning added up to .32 inches.
Earlier in the year, City Hall's rain gauge showed the city above average in 2009 rainfall, but that's changed. The 3.32 inches of rain the city has received so far this month is 3.21 inches below average for the July 1 to 28 period.
For the year, Destin has received a total of 32.34 inches so far.
