Information sought in Destin church burglaries
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information about two church burglaries that occurred in Destin sometime during the overnight hours of January 7 and 8. Deputies responded to the First Presbyterian Church located on Calhoun Avenue on January 8 and discovered that someone had entered the church by forcing their way into the main door and took several items.
That same day, deputies were also called to Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church located on Airport Road and discovered that the church had also been burglarized and several instruments and other electrical equipment were stolen.
