WHAT LIES BENEATH: Aerial photos capture the slick 3 to 5 miles out

These aerial photos taken by Daily News Staff Photographer Nick Tomecek show oil 3 to 5 miles off the Okaloosa Island shoreline between the Navarre fishing pier and the Destin East Pass. Tomecek and Staff Writer Tom McLaughlin took the aerial tour of the Emerald Coast to get a firsthand look at the extent of the oil spill.
