POLL: Get to the Point, but stop spending
Recently The Log asked its online readers “What should be the city's No. 1 priority in 2012?”
Of more than 1,000 votes cast 34 percent said to stabilize the ever-eroding Norriego Point. About 31 percent said to stop spending and build reserves. About 18 percent said completing the West Destin beach restoration project was a must, while 7 percent said building the harbor boardwalk should be the city’s chief concern. About 3 percent said “who cares.” Now we want to know what you think about the City Council going digital and buying iPads to cut down on paper costs. Vote online at thedestinlog.com
