A Thanksgiving fish feast of plenty (with CATCH-OF-THE-DAY PHOTOS)
Two days before Thanksgiving, there were a lot of thankful anglers as they pulled in Tuesday with a huge haul aboard the New Florida Girl’s American Spirit with Capt. Jim Green.
“This is the best day I’ve had in about a week-and-a-half,” Green said. “It was pretty good out there.”
The group brought in three full tubs of fish weighing about 350 pounds total. Among the mix were some huge triggerfish, mingo, white snapper, amberine, lane snapper, scamp, a couple of red grouper and a grouper.
Right now the party boat is usually running about a couple of days a week, Wednesday and Saturday.
