'Lil Man' wanted for shooting into friend's pickup truck (MUGS)
CRESTVIEW - Police are searching for a 35-year-old man who allegedly shot into a pickup truck last week.
Dwight D. Redding, also known as “Lil Man,” is wanted for shooting a deadly missile into a vehicle and public discharge of a firearm.
About 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3, Redding got out of his car and approached a friend’s pickup truck parked outside a residence on the 600 block of West Edney Avenue, said Crestview Police Lt. Andrew Schneider. The two got into an argument and Redding fired a pistol into the truck but didn’t hit anyone.
Redding fled the scene in a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, described as white with a red stripe, according to a police news release. Lawmen consider him armed and dangerous.
