LETTER: All will suffer under bailout boondoggle
The magnitude of the pain this will bring to the least of us in the majority is caused by the minority, who have the ability and power to make changes. Some of these people we voted for to protect us and serve us, but they really serve themselves heaping helpings that could provide comfort to those with less. To that minority that has gotten away with this fraud: I hope you and the politicians that aid you enjoy the riches you have acquired for yourself.
Enjoy every bite of luxurious meals, foreign travel, new exotic cars, fine clothes, various privileges, free rounds of golf/tennis/operas etc. Enjoy the Botox injection you need to maintain a glossed over wrinkle-free smile. Savor the day’s entitlements that we the people, your SLAVES, provide. May they be your last.
There is a $53 trillion medical and pension tsunami coming. How is this debt going to be covered by a government that represents an economy no longer in possession of real assets? Taxpayers are stripped to the bare.
When will the people be too big to fail and the corporations be returned to their own responsibility? Leaders say “NO” to spoiled children and defend justice, but weakness and selfishness gives in to every whim. Where are the leaders?
This bailout bill is not correcting injustices! One day soon this reality will hit you hard. I will pray for you no less.
