The 2014 Emerald Coast Outdoors Expo is coming to the coast Aug. 2 and 3 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island.
The ECO Expo will promote a family oriented, healthy, and adventurous lifestyle exemplified by outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing. Organizers hope to have more than 150 booths encompassing all of these areas, as well as workshops and guest speakers.
They are currently seeking businesses in the outdoor fields interested in being a vendor or sponsoring the event.
“In addition to the estimated 1.5 million residents of the Gulf Coast Region, Okaloosa and Walton counties have up to 17,000 overnight August visitors specifically here to indulge in the opportunities this area has to offer,” said Christie Sachse with ExpoPro LLC.“Very few places can boast the diversity of outdoor and recreational experiences available here. Hunting, freshwater, inland and saltwater fishing, camping, diving, snorkeling, spear fishing, boating, jet skiing, and many more…all can be done in any combination in close proximity, all in the same day.”
