Construction of Carmike's Boulevard 10 Cinema is on schedule for a spring break 2013 grand opening. This is Walton County’s first movie theater and developers say the state-of-the-art 10 screen movie theater will seat a total of 1,800 people.

Among its unique features is a "BIG D" large-screen format auditorium that includes a wall to wall, floor to ceiling screen that is 60 feet wide and three stories high. It also includes plush leather high-back rocking seats and 7.1 surround sound and digital projection of both 2D and 3D features. There are only 14 BIG D auditoriums in the country and this is the first one in Florida.

Boulevard 10 will also feature The Ovation Club, a more intimate movie-going experience with lush leather seating, swing around tables, a wall-to-wall screen, premium food made to order and adult beverages.
