Ranson Early connected for five hits to lead Busch Leaguers in a 23-16 victory over Heritage Tree Service in the Men’s Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Early cranked out a home run and four singles for an RBI.

The first two innings of play were close with Busch up 5-3. In the next two innings, Busch started to pull away 13-7 and by the end of five they were up 21-14.

Kyle Ely hit four singles for two RBIs for Busch. Jake Smalls doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs, and Corey Hutchins ripped a homer.

Brandon Daughtery was tops for Heritage with a home run, double and two singles for an RBI. Jason Little tripled, doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Jen Phillips tripled and hit two singles for an RBI.

 

X-Treme H20 31, Heritage Tree Service 27

At the end of two innings, the game was tied at 5-5. Heritage took the lead in the third 13-9 and increased it to 20-15 in the fourth. In the top of the fifth, X-Treme battled back with nine runs to go up 24-20. X-Treme put up four runs in the sixth and three in the seventh for the win.

Josh Snyder knocked in five runs for X-Treme on a triple, two doubles and a single. William Blue homered and hit three singles for three RBIs, and Jamie Steiner homered and hit three singles for two RBIs. Chris Terry clobbered two home runs and Austin Jessup one.

Michael Haynes pounded out two home runs, a double and three singles for eight RBIs for Heritage. Chris Tarplee homered and hit three singles for four RBIs, and Justin Mello connected for five singles for an RBI. Jason Little and Brandon Daughtery each hit a home run.

 

X-Treme H20 41, Doc’s Softball 11

X-Treme exploded in the first inning with 18 runs. They went on to score nine in the second, two in the third and then 12 in the fourth.

Josh Snyder knocked in eight RBIs on a home run, two triples and a single for X-Treme. Marc Bergerstock tripled, hit three doubles and a single for two RBIs, and Brian Martinez hit a homer, double and two singles for four RBIs. William Blue and Austin Jessup each hit home runs.

Justin Chaknis connected for three singles for three RBIs for Doc’s. Joseph Pike belted a home run and a triple for three RBIs, and Torrence Washington, a double for an RBI.

 

Sunsouth 19, World Famous Crab Island 10

After two innings, Sunsouth was up 9-8. Sunsouth pulled away in the next two innings with five and four runs, and then finished up with one in the fifth.

Joe Kerns knocked in nine runs for Sunsouth on three triples, a double and two singles. Jeremy Bullock hit two triples and a single for three RBIs, while Mike Jones, tripled, doubled and hit three singles for four RBIs.

J.B. Salinas tripled, hit three doubles and a single for five RBIs for Crab Island. Shayne Bryant doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs.

 

Harbor Docks 24, 30 Aces 23

Harbor Docks led 17-6 after two innings. At the end of five, Harbor Docks was sitting on a 19-12 advantage.

David Nelson led Harbor Docks with three home runs, a double and a single for an RBI. Phillips Uchols doubled and hit two singles for an RBI, and Brandon Patzig ripped three homers and a single for three RBIs.

Justin Chaknis smacked three home runs and a double for 30 Aces. Jameson Henshaw homered, hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs, and Will Eads homered, doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs.

 

30 Aces 22, Sunsouth 8

30 Aces led 6-1 at the end of two innings and then put up 16 in the third to polish the game off in five.

Big hitters for 30 Aces were Jameson Henshaw, Josh Ulrich and Jude Stagner each with home runs and multiple hits.

Frank Lozano had five hits for Sunsouth, while Josh Livingston had three and Jeremy Bullock, one.
