Josh Snyder knocked in nine runs to lead TayGray Photography in a 26-14 win over Almighty Installations in the Coed Division 1 Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Snyder cranked out three home runs for those nine RBIs.

TayGray jumped out to a 10-3 lead in the first two innings, and then scored the 10-run limit in the third to go up 20-5. The game was over in five innings.

Marc Bergerstock pounded out two triples, a double and a single for three RBIs for TayGray, while Shardae Hernandez hit an inside-the-park home run, double and a single for four RBIs. Angela Coteat connected for three singles for an RBI, and Chad Ashton clobbered a home run.

Brandon Patzig was tops for Almighty with a homer and a single for two RBIs. Megan Irby doubled and singled for an RBI, and Jay Foerster doubled and singled for two RBIs. Jamie DiBendetto slapped a home run.

Having Fun stepped out to an 18-3 lead the first two innings and never looked back to put the game away in five innings.

Michael Haynes was the top batter for Having Fun with two homers, two doubles and a single for five RBIs. Neil Washington smacked two home runs and two singles for six RBIs, and Jamie Phillips tripled, doubled and hit two singles for an RBI. Tom Pitroff and Ryan Grandstaff each ripped a home run.

Sharon Wood hit a grand slam, double and two singles for four RBIs for Chiropractic. Don Edwards hit two homers and a double for four RBIs, and Kathy Whiddon hit two singles. Evan Groth also hit a home run.

 

Merica 20, Fenders 17

Down 6-4 after three innings, Merica battled back with four runs in the fourth and then five in the fifth. In the top of the sixth, Merica scored seven runs for the win.

Jason Jamieson led Merica with a triple and three singles for two RBIs. Amy Holt connected for three singles for an RBI, and Andrew Fish doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs. Matt Reich smacked a homer.

Ashlyn Stanford connected for four singles for an RBI for Fenders. Davey Bazylak belted a home run and a single for an RBI, and Brandon Blyden doubled and hit two singles for an RBI.

 

Advanced A/C and Heating 21, 30A 13

Advanced took an early 10-3 lead in the first inning and was up 19-13 by the end of five. They picked up two more in the sixth to finish off the game.

Brandon Patzig pummeled two homers and two doubles for two RBIs for Advanced. Nate Decker hit two homers and two doubles for an RBI, and Lindsay Cannon doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs.

Adam Vafides cranked out a home run and two doubles for 30A. Allison Arreguin tripled and hit two singles for an RBI, and Carlos Poveda hit three singles for an RBI.
