David Beard knocked in four runs to lead Almighty Installations in a 25-24 win over Island Wings in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Beard blasted two home runs, a triple and a double for four RBIs.

At the end of two innings, Almighty was on top 11-9. They went on to scored three in the third, eight in the fourth and then three more in the fifth for the win.

Justin Biogue hit thee doubles and a single for two RBIs for Almighty, and Yumi Boyd hit two singles for three RBIs.

Lauren Kramer hit four singles for four RBIs for Island Wings. Chris Rubino doubled and hit three singles for four RBIs, and Anna Cordova hit two singles for two RBIs.

 

Healthsource Smokin Bases 16, Misfits 15

At the end of four innings, Healthsource led 10-4. Misfits exploded in the top of the fifth for 10 runs. In the sixth, Healthsource scored six runs and then held Misfits to only one run in the top of the seventh for the win.

Ryan Garcia hit a home run, two doubles and a single for three RBIs for Healthsource. Micah Priest homered and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Mitch Clabeux tripled and hit two singles for three RBIs.

Jason Smith connected for a triple and a double for three RBIs for Misfits. Sam Senor doubled for three RBIs and Brandon Brookshaw singled for two RBIs.

 

SoWal 13, Landsharks 0

SoWal scored seven in the first and then six in the second to cruise to a 13-0 victory.

Kyle Boyers hit two doubles and a single for SoWal. Steve Kline doubled and hit two singles, and Jennie Walton hit two singles.

Sean Scott singled for Landsharks.

 

Destin Locksmithing 6, Nike 1

Locksmithing scored five in the second inning and then added one more in the fourth. Nike scored its only run in the top of the third.

Joe Feltner hit three singles for Locksmithing and Donnie Ellier two.

Ken Delprinciple hit two singles for Nike.
