David Beard knocked in nine runs to lead Almighty Installations in a 27-15 win over Healthsource in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Beard pummeled two home runs, a triple and a double for nine RBIs.

Almighty started strong scoring the 10-run limit in the first inning. Almighty picked up three runs in the third and then exploded for 10 more runs in the fourth for a 23-15 lead. Almighty scored its four last runs in the bottom of the fifth for a 27-15 finish.

Amy Harner clobbered two home runs and two singles for seven RBIs for Almighty. Laura Mosley hit three singles for four RBIs and Adam Mooney hit a home run.

Ryan Garcia led Healthsource with two home runs and a single for six RBIs. Ashley Harrison hit two singles for two RBIs, and Micah Priest smacked a home run and a single for two RBIs.


Island Wings 22, Destin Locksmithing 12

Island Wings jumped out to a 15-7 in the first three innings. In the next couple of innings, both teams scored two runs in each inning. In the sixth, Island Wings put the game away.

Chris Rubins led Island Wings with two doubles and three singles. Chris Edmondson homered, hit two doubles and a single for an RBI, and Tish Emerson hit three singles.

Matt Wright connected for two doubles and a single for Locksmithing. Michelle Williams and Donnie Eiler each hit three singles.


Almighty Installations 20, Landsharks 12

At the end of four innings, the game was deadlocked at 10-10. In the top of the fifth inning, Almighty scored the 10-run limit and then held Landsharks to only two in the bottom half for the win.

Justin Bieque was tops for Almighty with two home runs and a single for three RBIs. Jameson Foerster connected for a triple and a double for three RBIs and David Beard slapped a home run and a triple for four RBIs.

Justin Hutchison knocked in four runs on a homer and two singles for Landsharks. Zach Cragin doubled and singled for an RBI, and Chris Kraft singled for an RBI.


Misfits 15, Landsharks 3

Misfits took a 7-2 lead in the first three innings and stretched it to 11-2 in the fourth. In the fifth, Misfits put the game away with four runs for a run-ruling on the game.

Niel Burllow hit two doubles and a single for Misfits. Joe Feltner hit three singles and Sam Senor hit two singles.

Kory Horton and Matt Molina each hit two singles for Landsharks. Wes Norton singled.
