Geoff Brower connected for six hits to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 15-4 win over Crab Island Cantina in the Coed Division I Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Brower clobbered a home run, two triples, two doubles and a single for three RBIs.

The first inning of play was close with Chiropractic up 4-3. In the third, Chiropractic pulled away a little with two runs and then picked up four more in the fourth for a 10-4 lead. They managed to put the game away in the fifth.

Shawn Wood ripped two home runs, two triples and a double for two RBIs for Chiropractic.

Justin Abdo slapped a home run for Crab Island. Missy Welborn hit two triples, a double and a single for two RBIs.

 

Free Agents 16, Stanley Security 15

At the end of three innings, the game was tied at 5-5. In the fourth, Free Agents picked up two runs for a 7-5 go ahead.

In the top of the fifth, Stanley got the advantage with five runs, but Free Agents tied it up in the bottom half with three runs.

With the game deadlocked going into the seventh inning, Stanley scored five and Free Agents answered with six for the win.

Jordan Brewer belted two doubles and two singles for Free Agents. Tiny Lee doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Daniel Candeias hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs. Travis Carroll smacked a home run.

Ethan Randolph knocked in six runs on two inside the park home runs and a single for Stanley. Kristen Myers hit an inside the park homer and two singles for an RBI, and Gregg Griffith hit two singles and two doubles for an RBI.

 

Heritage Tree Service 26, Beach Zone 25

Heritage stepped out to a 10-3 lead in the first two innings and stretched it to 23-12 in the fourth inning. In the top of the fifth, Heritage scored three, but then Beach Zone battled back with the 10-run limit. In the bottom of the sixth, Beach Zone picked up three more runs but came up short.

Jamie DiBenedetto led Heritage with five singles for an RBI. Emily Davis hit two doubles and a single for four RBIs, and Jason Little connected for four singles for three RBIs. Justin Nunnely clobbered two home runs, one a grand slam, for a total of seven RBIs.

Jason Jamison doubled and hit four singles for Beach Zone. Zach Raya tripled, hit two doubles and a single for five RBIs, and Hannah Asprodites doubled and hit two singles for four RBIs. Brandon Patzig ripped a home run.

 

Gold’s Gym 25, Crab Island Cantina 23

Gold’s started strong scoring the 10-run limit in the top of the first. Crab Island answered with eight runs in the bottom half.

In the second, Gold’s picked up one and Crab Island two, for a one-run difference.

In the top of the third, Gold’s pulled away with eight runs, but Crab Island closed it down in the fourth with six runs and then tied it up at 19-19 with three runs.

Gold’s pulled off the win in the last couple of innings.

Chris Johns was tops for Gold’s with two home runs, a triple, three doubles and two singles for three RBIs. Marti Littlefield hit three triples, two doubles and two singles for three RBIs, and Hector Barrientos hit a triple for an RBI.

Ace Crank cranked out a home run for Crab Island, along with a triple, double and two singles for an RBI. Michael Robbins tripled, hit two doubles and two singles for two RBIs, and Myria Jacobs tripled and double for an RBI.
