The Destin Youth Basketball League is in full swing at the Destin Community Center. Here are some of the results from the second week of play in the various age groups.


Ages 5/6

Salvati’s Pizza 34, Frankfurt Law 16

Salvati’s jumped out to a 22-6 lead over Frankfurt in the first half. Bentlee Bailey was high-point player for Salvati’s with 16 points. Connolly Barcus scored eight, William Horin six, and Colton Romeo four.

Bentley Reed led Frankfurt with 10 points. Scoring two each were Henry Frankfurt, J.B. Martin and Nash Fosdyck.

McGovern O’Dell Associates 12, The Will Lawyer 6

Harper Reynolds scored six for McGovern, while Cayman Johnson hit for four and Kane Terry, two.

Blake Marraco scored four points for The Will Lawyer and Joseph Oakes added two.

Budget Blinds 16, Culver’s 8

Jordyn Spence was tops for Budget with 12 points. Derrick Jones scored four.

Luke George led Culver’s with four points. Kadyn Campbell and Jeremiah Ray each scored two.

Ace of South Walton 37, Arrow Disposal Services 15

Jack Harrell hit double digits for Ace with 11 points. James Espy and Mox Hoy each scored six. Tyler Rojas, Carter McLendon and Hunter Ray each scored four.

Graham Herndon scored 11 for Arrow. Scoring two points each were David Feczko, Ryder Kendall and Judson Phillips.


Ages 3/4

Landsharks 14, Wild Willy’s 10

Joseph Cope scored four points for Landsharks. Tossing in two points each were Ava Bonner, Dylan Casado, Jarvis Rickman, Brock Sansom and Addison Gordon.

Jackson Riebli scored six for Wild Willy’s, while Hadley Bahena and Matthew Bardin each scored two.

AJ’s 24, Kidz 4 Kidz 10

Trey Lee was high-point player for AJ’s with 12 points. Cole Brletch and Nolan Holstein each scored four, while Mock Horin and Chase McLendon each scored two.

Miles Merritt had six points for Kidz and Michael Guin scored four.


Ages 7/8

Pristine Painting 14, Wood and Associates 4

Parker Yates led Pristine with six points. Jayce Roberson scored four, while Jaden Fair and Cole McCunney each scored two.

Maddox Mason scored all four points for Wood.

ThomCo Enterprises 28, Stu’s Pro Painting 26

Max Thomas led ThomCo with 14 points. Scoring four each were Pierce Malin and James Campbell, while Jake Izer and Candace Berry each scored two.

Hamilton Martin scored 12 for Stu’s while McCarver Dahlman scored six. Hitting for two each were Carter Marracco, Jackson Marracco, Kristalyn Winters and Eli Joseph-O’Brian.

Fudpucker’s 32, Gulf Coast Electric 23

Lavin McDaniel was high-point player for Fud’s with 16 points. Caden Job and Ebner Ingram each scored six, while Cannon Wilbur and Connor Job each scored two.

Zai’Shawn Brown scored 11 for Gulf Coast and Kingston Hutchinson eight. Carter Dallman and Malachi Grimes both scored two.

Active Marketing 25, Frankfurt 1031 Exchange 24

Jackson Black fired up the nets for Active with 21 points. Scoring two each were Aaron McDowell and Kellen Ramsey.

Brooks Chouinard was tops for Frankfurt with 12 points. Ethan Thomas and Eli Scharf each scored six.


Ages 9/10

Nathan Hall DMD 25, The Shard Shop 6

Scoring for Nathan Hall were Ethan Holstein, eight; William Blanchard, six; Kadon Chapman, five; and Jordan Figueroa, Eleanor Dawson and Brennen Leonard, two.

Sara Oakes scored four points for The Shard Shop and Alexander Shepherd added two.

Island Pier 16, Carr, Riggs and Ingram 13

Owen Atkins led Pier with seven points . Brayden Waters scored three, while Hayden Barcus, John Rice and Ryder Matekovich each chipped in two.

Carson Fayard scored five for Carr, while Greyson Sommerville and Palmer Robbins each scored four.

Coastal Cruisers LLC 43, Frankfurt Law 14

Scoring in double-digits for Coastal were Gunnar Smith with 14, James Boykin with 13 and Tyler Nims put up 10 points. Anabelle Shackleford scored four and Aiden Garza tossed in two.

Ethan Chance and Charlie Frankfurt each scored five for Frankfurt, while Gavin Bartlett and Easton Brackett chipped in two each.


Ages 11/15

Trustmark National Bank 42, World Impact Real Estate 22

Daniil Baturyn fired up the nets for 22 points to lead Trustmark. Jack Tenholder scored six, Parker Seagle five, L.J. Figueroa four, Ashton Rieper three and Pavel Baturyn each added two.

Zander Davis scored 12 for World Impact, while Logan Cann hit for eight, and Pierce Forrester two.

Great Clips 26, Executive Air LLC 23

Price Brown led Great Clips with nine points. Scoring four each were Kirch Bright and J.Cole Riche. Spencer MacKenzie scored three, while Brody Plasier, Ethan Ramsey and Tyler Lowe each scored two.

Parker Kajala scored seven for Executive Air. Aiden Davis scored five, Evan Kajala and Michael Cappola each scored four, Jacob Stepp two and Alex Kruise one.

Destin Custom Home Builders 34, Fudpucker’s 28

Carston Phillips was the go-to guy for Home Builders with 20 points. Andrew Atkins scored six, while Noah Lynch and Jandel Gadea each scored four.

Eason Ingram was tops for Fud’s with 11 points. Damian Alexander scored four. Scoring three each were Noah Mason, Garret Jacobs, Eisley Ingram and Debra Campbell. Hunter Barber chipped in one point.

Emerald Coast Move Pro 33, Lady Marlins 8

Maddox Fayard scored 11 and Allen Collins his for 10 to lead Move Pro. Erik Scott scored six, Zach Thomas three, Hawk Yohe two and Isaiah Batarao one.

Carrington Phillips scored three for the Marlins, while Omar Granados and Jessica Pierce each scored two. Liani Allan Pohl chipped in one point.
