Michael Mantini connected for three hits to lead So Wal in a 20-13 win over HOA’s in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Mantini slapped a home run, double and a single for an RBI.

In the first three innings, So Wal stepped out to a 7-4 lead. In the top of the fourth, HOA’s put five runs on the board for the lead. So Wal answered with four in the bottom half.

In the fifth inning, HOA’s scored one and So Wal broke loose for six runs for a 17-10 lead. So Wal finished up with three in the sixth for the win.

Bruce Millsap tripled and singled for three RBIs for So Wal. Michael Ogden hit three singles for three RBIs.

Brandon Graves smacked two home runs and a double for two RBIs for HOA’s. Laruen Woods connected for two homers for four RBIs, and Chelsea Womack doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs.


Emerald Coast Alarms 15, Jackacuda’s-Brotula’s 1

At the end of three innings, Alarms was on top 6-0. In the fourth, Alarms blew up for nine runs.

Jackacuda scored its lone run in the top of the fifth.

Matt Wright led Alarms with a triple, two doubles and a single. Nic Reimer ripped a home run and two singles, and Lisa Foutch hit two singles.

Zack Cragin hit two singles for Jackacuda’s, while Justin Hutchison and Matt Molina each singled.


Buffalo Wild Wings 40, Navigators 3

Wild Wings scored the 10-run limit in each of the first four innings.

Navigators scored two in the third and one in the fourth.

Home run hitters for Wild Wings were Blaine Watkins, Ethan Randolph and Colby Wells.

Top batters for Navigators were Bart Hardy, Amber Mitchell and Jonathan Gangloff.


Fenders Collision 42, Healthsource Smokin’ Bases 18

At the end of three innings, Fenders was on top 15-10.

In the fourth, Fenders scored four and Healthsource put up six. Fenders went on to score one in the fifth. With time running out, Fenders put up 22 runs in the sixth and final inning. Healthsource answered with two.

David Beard hit the cycle for Fenders with a homer, triple, double and a single. Jason Falpter tripled, doubled and hit three singles, and Adam Mongo connected for two doubles and two singles.

Ryan Garcia ripped three doubles and a single for Healthsource. Jerry Mains hit two doubles and two singles, and Zack Harvey doubled and hit two singles.
