Rae Richardson knocked in five runs to lead SoWal in a 27-18 win over Misfits in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Richardson belted a home run, a double and two singles for five RBIs.

At the end of three innings, Misfits led 16-15. In the fourth, SoWal rallied and scored the 10-run limit for a 25-16 go ahead.

With time running out, each team scored two runs in the fifth with SoWal getting the win.

Delanie Barbour ripped a triple and three singles for five RBIs for SoWal, while Michael Ogden hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs.

Brandon Brookshaw led Misfits with two triples and two doubles for an RBI. Sam Senor hit three doubles for three RBIs, and Brittney Mainor hit three singles for four RBIs. Randy Kukla slapped a home run.

 

Fenders Collision 26, Jackacuda’s-Brotula’s 8

Fenders started strong scoring the 10-run limit in the first inning. Fenders went on to score six in the second and third inning. In the fourth, Fenders finished off the game with four runs for a 12-run ruling on the game.

Amy Smith led Fenders with a homer, triple, double and a single for four RBIs. Chelsea Womack tripled, doubled and singled for two RBIs and Brian Wilson hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs.

Zach Cragin tripled and singled for four RBIs for Jackacuda’s. Matt Molina and Laura Cooper each hit two singles for an RBI.

 

Buffalo Wild Wings 36, Healthsource Smokin’ Bases 17

Buffalo Wild Wings finished strong scoring the 10-run limit in both the fourth and sixth innings for the win.

Colby Wells hit three doubles and a single for Buffalo. Blaine Watkins smacked a home run and three singles and Zac Lewis doubled and hit two singles.

Ryan Sarcia connected for a homer and three doubles for Healthsource. Dakota Blackburn hit two doubles and two singles while Curtis Harrison hit three singles.

 

Emerald Coast Alarms 19, HOA’s 5

At the end of three innings, Emerald Coast led 5-2. In the fourth, Emerald Coast rallied for eight runs and then put the game away in the fifth with six runs.

Matt Wright led Emerald Coast with a double and two singles. Beth Blyden hit three singles, and Jeff McAfee homered and hit a single.

Ken Wampler, Brandon Graves and Lance Woods each hit two singles for HOA’s.
