After four matches, the Destin Middle School Marlin golf teams are undefeated.

The Destin boys chalked up two convincing wins last week with a 149 to 175 victory over Bruner Middle and a 133 to 199 win over Pryor Middle.

“Our veteran players have consistently scored well,” said Destin boys golf Coach Terry Gulledge. “I’m pleased to see some of our younger player’s progress and contribute.”

Eighth graders Tanner Morlan and Parker Seagle led the Marlins in both matches, with Morlan firing a 31 against Bruner and Seagle a 29 against Pryor.

Seventh graders Isaiah Batarao and Miller Lindsley both carded 41’s against Bruner.

Against Pryor, sixth grader Cooper Hall scored 41.

As for the Destin girls, they secured another big victory with a 128-191 over Pryor Middle at the end of the week.

Scores for the Lady Marlins were Camryn Lux, 31; Riley Conroy, 32; Marlee Rountree, 33; Juliana Hock, 32; Aaliyah Miille, 34; and Madeleine Swilley, 41.

Both Destin teams sit at 4-0 on the season.
