Brandon Brookshaw cranked out three hits to lead Misfits in a 14-9 win over SoWal in the Coed Division Softball League at Morgan Sports Center. This was a Division III game to start the second half of the season.

Brookshaw ripped a double and two singles for an RBI.

Misfits jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first inning and then added three more in the second.

In the fourth, SoWal scored four and Misfits answered with two runs. Misfits scored one in the sixth and SoWal finished up with two in the seventh.

Matt Eden blasted a home run and a double for four RBIs for Misfits. Casey Leirer hit two singles for an RBI.

Michael Ogden homered and hit two doubles for two RBIs for SoWal. Bruce Milsap hit three single for an RBI and Jonathan Tallent homered and doubled for three RBIs.

 

Fenders Collision 28, Emerald Coast Alarms 10

Fenders came on strong with nine runs in the third and then 10 in the fourth to finish ECA in five innings.

Donald Buck was the big stick for Fenders with two homers, a double and a single for eight RBIs. David Beard hit two doubles for four RBIs, and Linda Tanner connected for three singles for an RBI.

Matt Reich blasted a home run and a double for an RBI for ECA. Matt Wright doubled and singled for three RBIs, and Katie Wright singled for an RBI.
