Coastal Beach Service and HarborWalk Marina both posted victories in the first round of the Coed Division I End of Season Softball Tournament at Morgan Sports Center.

HarborWalk advances to play TayGray at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with the winner taking on Coastal Beach Service at 8 p.m. for the championship.

In round one of the tournament, HarborWalk Marina whipped Buffalo Wild Wings 22-9.

The first two innings of play was close with HarborWalk holding a 10-8 lead. In the fourth, Wild Wings picked up one run and HarborWalk answered with five in the bottom half. HarborWalk pulled away in the bottom of the fifth with seven runs for the win.

Brian Martinez led HarborWalk with a home run and three singles for five RBIs. Zack Raya tripled, doubled and singled for two RBIs, and Missy Welborn hit two singles.

Jane Purdy tripled and singled for three RBIs for Wild Wings. Colby Wells tripled and singled for an RBI, and Taylor Campbell doubled for two RBIs.

In other tournament action, Coastal Beach Service edged out 2 Brothers 11-10.

At the end of four innings, Coastal was up 5-2 and 8-2 at the end of five.

In the sixth inning, Coastal picked up one more run.

In the top of the seventh, 2 Brothers got a rally going and scored eight runs to go up 10-9.

In the bottom half, Coastal’s Steffanie Saddler ripped a triple to knock in the two runs needed for the win.

Nate Decker hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs for Coastal. Mike Belden doubled and singled, and Saddler tripled and singled for three RBIs. Travis Carroll smacked two home runs.

Josh Feltner led 2 Brothers with a homer, double and a single for an RBI. Joe Feltner hit three singles and Jenny Campbell singled for an RBI.
