Todd Preston hit the cycle to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 22-14 win over Fireballers in the championship game of the Coed Division II Softball End of Season Tournament at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Preston belted a home run, triple, double and a single for three RBIs.

Fireballers took the early lead 4-2 in the first inning. In the second, Fireballers put up three runs and Chiropractic closed the gap with four.

In the third, Fireballers scored one and Chiropractic finally took the lead with three in the bottom half for a 9-8 go ahead.

In the fourth, Chiropractic picked up three more then exploded in the fifth with nine runs for a 21-13 lead. In the sixth, Chiropractic scored one last run for a 22-14 finish.

Jess Whidden hit three singles for two RBIs for Chiropractic. Mike Henry hit three doubles for four RBIs, Don Edwards hit three singles, and Lee Pardue clobbered two homers for five RBIs.

Pete VanHesteren connected for two triples and a single for an RBI for Fireballers. Cody Maddux doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs, Katie Quinn hit two singles for an RBI, and Joey Binaco slapped a home run.

In earlier tournament action, Emerald Coast Chiropractic knocked off The Track 20-13.

At the end of three innings, the game was tied at 6-6.

In the bottom of the fourth, Chiropractic pulled away with seven runs.

In the top of the fifth, The Track closed it down with five runs. Chiropractic answered with one in the bottom half.

In the sixth, Chiropractic added six runs for a 20-11 lead. The Track scored two last runs in the top of the seventh.

Shawn Wood was tops for Chiropractic with a home run, two doubles and a single for three RBIs. Jess Whidden hit three singles for two RBIs, Don Edwards hit three singles, and Lee Pardue and Todd Preston each smacked a home run.

Corey Griffith homered and doubled for two RBIs for The Track. Gregg Griffith doubled and singled for two RBIs, and Kristin Myers connected for a triple and a single.
