In 90 degree temperatures, the South Walton Seahawks were on the practice field Wednesday morning running through drills, like they have since the first week in June.

Head Coach Phil Tisa said he's had about 40 to 45 players for the summer workouts, which includes time in the weight room as well as on the field. However, when official practice begins July 31 he expects to have about 60 on the field.

The Seahawks kick off their season at 7 p.m., Aug. 24 at home against the Arnold Marlins.
