Clean & Fix mops up Florida Septic

Brittany Mainor belted four singles to lead Clean & Fix in a 16-4 win over Florida Septic and Sewer for the title of the Coed Recreational Softball League Bracket C tournament at Morgan Sports Center.

At the end of three innings, Clean & Fix was fixed on the win with a 12-3 lead.

Scott McFadyen doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs. Dusty Guess tripled and doubled for an RBI.

Chris Edmonson hit two doubles for Florida Septic. Janzten Humphries doubled for an RBI and Mindy McIver singled.

In other tournament action:

•Florida Septic and Sewer 13, Emerald Coast Chiropractic 12

Florida Septic took an 8-0 lead in the first two innings.

Jantzen Humphries belted two doubles and a single for four RBIs for Florida Septic. Alex McFarland hit two singles for an RBI.

Jason Autrey connected for two doubles and two singles for Emerald Coast. Teresa Imidieke hit two singles for an RBI, and Mike Henry doubled. Kurt Haynes clobbered a home run.

•Clean & Fix 12, Rojo Banditos 10

The game was tied at 4-4 at the end of three innings. In the top of the fourth, Rojo took the lead with four runs. Clean & Fix got the advantage in the bottom of the fifth with five runs.

Rob Albert was tops for Clean & Fix with a double and two singles for an RBI. Lynda Tanner hit two singles for an RBI, and Jimmy Guess tripled, doubled and singled for two RBIs.

Danny Wilcox blasted two home runs and two doubles for six RBIs. Jimmy Short hit three doubles.

•Florida Septic and Sewer 11, Ariel Seafood 6

At the end of three innings, Florida Septic held a slight 7-6 lead. In the bottom of the fourth, Florida Septic secured the win with four runs.

Jantzen Humphries doubled and Karen Scott singled for Florida Septic.

David Krebs hit two singles for Ariel. Drew Jundle singled for an RBI and Tim Roberts doubled for an RBI.

Southern Resorts clobbered Fudpucker’s 15-2 for the title.

After three innings, Southern Resorts had the game in hand 13-1.

Lynn Treadway hit two singles for three RBIs for Southern. Mike Taylor hit two singles for two RBIs, and Roseanna Padova singled.

Jack Bonger knocked an in-the-park homer for two RBIs for Fudpucker’s. Chris Costi singled and Kelly Young tripled for an RBI.
