Cooperstown bound: Baseball/softball clinic is Saturday
Former Destin Little League All-Star’s Noah Bailey, Nic Sherer and Jason Shirley have been invited to play in a weeklong baseball tournament in Cooperstown, New York in June.
A fundraising clinic will be held Saturday at Destin Middle School to benefit the threesome’s trek to New York.
The clinic will be from 1-4 p.m. and cost is $20.
Former Major and Minor league players of the MLB and current/former local high school baseball coaches will be on hand to help players sharpen their baseball skills.
The clinic is for ages 5-11.
Dress for baseball, bring equipment, water or sports drink.
Registration will be at 12:30 p.m. at the field.
