Destiny Worship Center Green team walks on Village

Mike Manthey knocked in four runs to lead Destiny Worship Center Green team in a 15-0 shutout of Village Baptist in the Church Coed Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.
Manthey belted three triples for four RBIs.

Destiny Green hit in four runs in the first, three in the second, one in the third, four in the fourth and three in the fifth for the win.
Cari Lewis hit two singles for an RBI for Destiny Green. Kurt Haynes ripped a home run, double and a single for four RBIs.
Connecting for the only hits for Village were Patrick Chimento with two doubles and Rachel Oliver with a single.

•Shoreline/First Baptist Mary Esther 16, Grace Lutheran 4
At the end of three innings, Shoreline led 9-3 and put another six runs on the board in the fourth.
John Rollings tripled, hit two doubles and a single for three RBIs for Shoreline. Mike Jones connected for two singles for four RBIs, and Andrea Lynch hit two singles.
Mike Wind and Alan Jowers each hit two singles for Grace for two RBIs. Lyndsey Lynch hit two singles.

•Destin United Methodist Church 24, Destiny Worship Center White 8
Methodist started strong with seven runs in the first and the 10-run limit in the second for a 17-3 lead.
John Henderson tripled, doubled and singled for four RBIs for Methodist. Jesse Hernandez smacked a home run, double and a single for three RBIs, and Elizabeth Imdieke singled for two RBIs.
Robby Lindsey was tops for Destiny White with two doubles and a single. Tom Jones hit three singles for two RBIs, and Rosalind Snider singled for an RBI.

•God’s Way 18, Shoreline/First Baptist Mary Esther 3
At the end of two innings, God’s Way was on top 10-2. God’s Way had the game in hand at the end of five.
Mark Whitley tripled, doubled and singled for three RBIs for God’s Way. James Francis tripled, doubled and singled for two RBIs, and Robin Hankins hit two singles.
Dustin Rollings and Lynda Tanner each hit two singles for Shoreline. Mike Jones singled.

•God’s Way 13, Frozen Chosen 11
God’s Way led 12-1 at the end of four innings. Frozen rallied in the last couple of innings but came up short.
Mark Whitley belted a home run and two singles for two RBIs. Lance Buck doubled and singled for three RBIs, and Jackie O’Neal hit three singles for two RBIs. James Heller hit an in-the-park home run.
Zack Rettig led Frozen with a double and two singles for an RBI.  Wendy Riggs hit two singles for an RBI, and Danny Riggs hit two doubles for two RBIs. Ace Crank ripped an in-the-park home run.

•Village Baptist 25, Destiny Worship Center Gold 0
Village dominated scoring three runs in the first, five in the second, nine in the third and eight in the fourth.
Patrick Chimento knocked in nine runs for Village on two homers, a triple and a double. Joe Feltner tripled and hit two doubles for an RBI, and Marva Dents hit two singles for two RBIs.
Matt Hick hit two singles for Destiny Gold. Franklin Wyeth and Joseph Godbee each connected for a single.
