Fudpucker’s wins Spring Tournament
Jason Sanders and Joe Collins combined for 36 points to lead Fudpucker’s in a 65-55 win over Gulf Coast Beach Service in the championship game of the 18-plus Adult Basketball Spring Tournament at the Destin Community Center.
Sanders made two 3-pointers, five 2-pointers and two from the free-throw line for 18 points, while Collins nailed eight 2s and two from the free-throw line for 18 points.
At the half, the game was tied at 24-24.
Everett Grover scored 11 points for Fudpucker’s.
McKinley Bethea led Gulf Coast with 25 points, including four 3s. Harry Madison hit two 3s on his way to 12 points, and Tommy O’Drain contributed 11 points.

Fudpucker’s led by 10 points at the half.
Jason Sanders was top gun for Fudpucker’s with three 3s en route to 15 points. Joe Collins made 12 points, and Cliff Covington hit three 3s for nine points.
Jeremy Payne tossed in two 3s on his way to 16 points for Harbor Docks. David Schmidt chipped in eight points.

At the half, Gulf Coast was on top 26-19.
McKinley Bethea knocked down three 3s on his way to 28 points for Gulf Coast. Tommy O’Drain hit one trey en route to nine points, and Todd Weber scored eight points.
Keith Watters made four 3s on his way to 25 points for the Rangers. Jonas Abbott hit two 3s en route to eight points, and Corey Chaplin made two 3s and seven points.
