Who’s Next rolls over Destin Flooring

Thomas Maddox hammered out five hits to lead Who’s Next in a 21-12 win over Destin Flooring in the Men’s Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.
Maddox belted a home run, triple and three singles for three RBIs.
At the end of two innings, Who’s Next led by one run. Who’s Next didn’t pull away until the last three innings.
Dana Vaccari homered and hit three singles for three RBIs for Who’s Next. Jonathan Clark smacked a home run, a triple and two doubles for an RBI. Jared Allen connected for one home run.
Mike Massey clobbered a home run and three singles for five RBIs for Destin Flooring. Justin Ray ripped a home run and three singles for four RBIs, and John Howard doubled and hit three singles for an RBI.
•Rum Runners 29, The Track 2
Kevin Bush knocked in six runs on a homer and three singles for Rum Runners. Jesse Hernandez homered and hit three doubles for three RBIs, and Raul Silvas batted a home run, double and two singles for three RBIs.
Joe Feltner homered and singled for two RBIs for The Track. Jon Oden and Sandy Royster each hit singles.
•Rum Runners 21, Mellow Mushroom 15
Mike Chapman was the big stick for Rum Runners with a homer, two doubles and two singles for four RBIs. Kevin Bush homered and hit three singles for two RBIs, and Jake Grinner doubled and hit two singles for four RBIs. Raul Silvas and William VanderEcken each hit a solo home run.
Brent Sutton hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs for Mellow Mushroom. Ben Thomas homered and doubled for five RBIs, and Justin Neece homered and singled for two RBIs. Drew Roberts hit a solo home run.
•Sandcastle Escapes 25, Royal Limousine 22
Chad Horton led Sandcastle with a homer and three singles for four RBIs. Jimmy Ross hit four singles and Caleb Midgett ripped two doubles and two singles for three RBI. Sean Hayes, Pat Chimento, Blaze Crank and Ryan Manthey each hit home runs.
Brian Wright crushed three homers and two singles for four RBIs. Wayne Burnette homered, doubled and hit two singles for six RBIs, and Steve Wright hit a home run and a double for four RBIs. Brad Hilderbrand belted a two-run homer.
•Sandcastle Escapes 30, The Track 17
David Holifield smacked a home run, two doubles and a single for four RBIs for Sandcastle. Jonathan Tidwell connected for four singles for five RBIs, and Jimmy Ross hit two home runs and a single for five RBIs. Caleb Midgett and Blaze Crank each hit homers.
Brandon Patzig doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs for The Track. Cleve Daniel belted a home run and a single for six RBIs, and Robbie Naylor homered and singled for two RBIs. Sandy Royster hit a home run.
•Ivey League 15, Royal Limousine 3
Rick Ivey knocked in eight runs on a grand slam and two triples to lead Ivey League. Corey Kovarik hit two singles for two RBIs and David Sweeney hit two singles for an RBI.
Wayne Burnett hit two singles for Royal Limo and Brian Wright doubled and singled for two RBIs. Jerome Nichols singled.
•Who’s Next 18, Ivey League 16
Jared Allen tripled and hit two singles for two RBIs for Who’s Next. Mike Dowling and Steve Rogers each doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs. Dana Vaccari ripped a solo home run.
Frankie Robinson hit four singles for two RBIs for Ivey. Dave Sweeney hit two triples and a single for four RBIs, and Rick Owens connected for two singles for two RBIs.
