Funky Blues Shack beats Destiny Worship

Eric Plasier fired up the nets with 22 points to lead Funky Blues Shack in a 63-46 win over Destiny Worship Center in the first round of tournament play in the 30-plus Adult Basketball League at the Destin Community Center.
Plasier made three 3-pointers, five 2s and three from the free-throw line.
At the half, Funky Blues led 33-17.
Aaron Bradley made one 3-pointer on his way to 16 points for Funky Blues, and Cory Fosdyck hit three 3s en route to 14 points.
Chris Zoephel scored 18 points for Destiny Worship. Jim Ryan tossed in 16 points, and Paul DiGiacomo made two 3s en route to 8 points.

Sandestin led 37-19 at the half.
Wendell Lee was tops for Sandestin with 18 points. Geoff Brower and Mike Lawman each scored 15 points. Lawman sank two 3s along the way.
Harry Madison knocked down five 3s on his way to 23 points for McDorman. Jacob McKelvey scored 16 points, and Chad Starewicz hit one 3-pointer on his way to 11 points.
