Resort Ready Rooms pulls plug on Sunlighting


Mike Card knocked in five runs to lead Resort Ready Rooms in a 16-4 win over Sunlighting Inc., in the Men’s Division IV Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.
Card hit four singles to bring in five runs.
At the end of two innings, Resort Ready was up 8-4.
Casey Fernandez tripled and hit two singles for an RBI, and Corey Fernandez batted two triples and a single for four RBIs.
Bubba Shealy hit two singles for Sunlighting. Cleve Daniels and Jeremy Hobart each singled for an RBI.
•Here For Beer 15, McLendon Builders 3
Here For Beer jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the first two innings.
Clint Jeter led Here For Beer with a double and three singles for three RBIs. Raul Silvas homered and singled for three RBIs, and Rick Scott tripled and doubled for an RBI.
Joe Larney hit two singles for McLendon, while Paul Brannon and Robert Garcia each singled.
•Shoreline Church 20, Whitney Bank 5
At the end of two innings, the game was tied at 3-3. Shoreline started to pull away in the third with three and then picked up six in the fourth.
Dusty Joseph was tops for Shoreline with a double and three singles for four RBIs. Brian Hughes tripled, doubled and singled for three RBIs, and Greg Gricamore doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs.
Larry Bean hit two singles for Whitney Bank. Donald Slappey doubled and singled, and Raphael Segno singled for two RBIs.

MEN’S DIVISION III
•Roger’s Pools 21, U-Park Valet 14
The game was tied at 5-5 at the end of three innings. Roger’s Pools scored four in the fourth, five in the fifth and seven in the sixth inning for the win.
Adam Conant led Roger’s Pools with a home run, double and two singles for three RBIs. Blaze Crank cranked out two homers and a triple for seven RBIs, and Zac Hamilton hit four singles for three RBIs.
Anthony Vecchio homered and hit three singles for three RBIs for U-Park. Bryan Moore connected for four singles, and Bryan Wright tripled and hit two singles for two RBIs. Brian Kjeer belted a grand slam.
•Shades of Destin 28, Spiva Water Works 23
In the first two innings each team put 12 runs on the board. The difference came in the third inning when Shades scored nine and held Spiva to one.
Oliver Thompson led Shades with a homer and four singles for seven RBIs. Brandon Creinin tripled and hit four singles for two RBIs, and Mike Stoltz tripled, hit three doubles and a single for six RBIs. Nick Reimer hit four singles for an RBI.
Mark Boyd homered, doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs for Spiva. Doc Agostinelli hit four singles for three RBIs, and Buck McNabb hit three doubles for three RBIs.
