Sacred Heart whips Who’s Next

Blaze Crank knocked in six runs to lead Sacred Heart in a 16-14 win over Who’s Next in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.
Crank belted two homers and a single.
Down 10-1 after two innings, Sacred Heart tied the game up by the end of four innings. In the last two innings, Sacred Heart brought in five runs for the win.
Matt Herbermann belted a home run, a double and two singles for four RBIs for Sacred Heart. LeAnn King connected for three singles for an RBI.
Thomas Maddox hit three singles for two RBIs for Who’s Next. Mirah Schraeder hit two doubles and a single for an RBI, and Crystal Henderson hit three singles and John Henderson popped a home run.
•Chick-fil-A 15, 100% Tint 12
David Feducia was tops for Chick-fil-A with a triple, three doubles and a single for two RBIs. Robert Dunning hit three doubles and a single for six RBIs, and Nikki Patterson hit three singles for three RBIs.
Kristen Pedro hit three singles for Tint. Alan Florence smacked a grand slam, double and a single for five RBIs, and James Heller doubled and singled.
•Beach Tech 20, BECI Inc. 18
Chris Zilka belted three homers and a single for six RBIs for Beach Tech. Denise Corcoran connected for five singles for an RBI, and Missy Wellborn hit four singles. Brandon Patzig hit an in-the-park homer.
Andrew Day ripped three triples and two singles for two RBIs for BECI. Erin Houy hit four singles for two RBIs, and Ben Thomas tripled, doubled and hit two singles for an RBI. Justin Miller hit an in-the-park homer.
