Sacred Heart unravels Family Ties

Blaze Crank pounded out two homers to lead Sacred Heart in a 9-7 win over Family Ties in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.
Crank was 2-for-2 with five RBIs.
At the end of four innings, Family Ties was up 5-3. Sacred Heart took the lead in the fifth with five runs.
Adam Conant doubled and hit two singles for Sacred Heart, and Leiann King hit two singles.
Richard Lawson led the effort for Family Ties with a triple, double and a single. Steffanie Saddler tripled for an RBI, and Billy Lawson hit two singles for an RBI.
•Beach Tech 13, 100% Tint 1
Steve Rivera clobbered a home run and two singles for three RBIs to lead Beach Tech. Brandon Patzig homered and doubled for three RBIs, and Missy Wellborn doubled for two runs.
Jennifer Perlewitz hit two singles for Tint, while Kristen Pedro and Ashley Dearing each recorded one hit.

Christian Smith was the top batter for BECI with a home run, two doubles and a single for three RBIs. David Nelson tripled, hit two doubles and a single for an RBI, and Stan Blackman knocked two doubles and a single for three RBIs.
Rena England smacked an in-the-park homer and four singles for three RBIs for Who’s Next. Bryan Moore tripled, doubled and hit two singles for five RBIs, and John Henderson hit two doubles and a single for four RBIs.

COED DIVISION III
•GCES 20, Emerald Coast Chiropractic 19
Chip Jeffcoat connected for two doubles and two singles for an RBI for GCES. Steve Rogers clubbed two homers and a single for three RBIs, and Missy Rogers hit three singles for an RBI.
John Corlew tripled and hit four singles for four RBIs for Emerald Coast. Beth Imdieke hit three singles for an RBI, and Aaron Bradley hit three singles to bring in two runs.
•Cool Ink 31, Destin Surgery Center 11
Seth Dubois knocked in five runs on a triple, double and three singles for five RBIs. Shardae Harndrdez tripled, doubled and hit three singles for four RBIs. Nathael Olesis doubled and hit three singles for three RBIs.
Gary Stevens and Mike Kelly each hit a double and a single for two RBIs for Destin Surgery. Joan Pleat hit two singles for an RBI. Chris Kirkland batted one home run.
•Art’s Appliances 28, Cool Ink 5
Kevin Bush batted in nine runs on two homers, two doubles and a single for Art’s. Aaron Fountain homered, hit two doubles and two singles for four RBIs, and Tracie Potts doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs.
Shardae Harndrdez blasted a home run, double and a single for Cool Ink. Seth Dubois hit three singles for an RBI, and Nathael Olesis doubled for two RBIs.
•Florida Septic and Sewer 17, Destin Locksmithing 8
Chris Edmonson belted two home runs, a triple and a double for seven RBIs for Florida Septic. Tony Drago tripled, doubled and hit two singles for an RBI. Lamar Martin hit two doubles and two singles for an RBI.
Brooke Baker was tops for Locksmithing with four singles. Dave Scanell doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs.

Russ Vitale doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs for X-Factor, and Nikki Edelman connected for three singles for an RBI.
Robin Harbin hit three singles for Destin Surgery. Brandon Patzig hit two doubles for two RBIs, and Joe Bodie doubled and singled for two RBIs.
