Destin Golf Remains Undefeated
The Destin Middle School Golf Team is off to a 3-0 start, following a 112-125 victory over Davidson Middle School, held at Foxwood Country Club in Crestview earlier this week.
The Marlins were led by Brock Ochsenreiter who shot a 25 in the in a 6-hole match.
Other Marlins making their mark were Tyler Cohen with a 28, Evan Seagle with a 29, and Ryan Barousse with a 30.
The victory follows a narrow win at home over county-rival Ruckel Middle School, 163-171 in a 9-hole match to open the season, and a decisive win over Shoal River 103-167.
Up next for Destin is a road trip to Fort Walton Beach to face Liza Jackson Prep School on April 4, and then a home match at Regatta Bay against Meigs on April 7. The team is preparing for the County Championship on April 26 to be held at Shalimar Pointe.
